A Romantic & Flower Filled Wedding

Let's meet our couple, Emily is an Advertising Account Director, and Jonny is an Accountant to have an online retailer. This lovely pair married around 8 June 2019 inside a church ceremony within the spectacular medieval, then a beautiful marquee reception. Let's set the scene having a film by, shall we?

I love the fresh, modern type of Emily’s prom dresses, using its racer-style neckline, and gorgeous floral lace back and train.

"I thought it was quite difficult to locate a dress that I was comfortable in, that reflected my style and also the style in our wedding. I wanted to make sure my dress was respectful and stylish yet relaxed and comfy. My usual style is very simple without any fuss, so I knew I didn't want an excessive amount of detail around the front of my dress."

"I loved everything about my chosen dress, in the racer neckline and straightforward front towards the floral back and matching train. The seamstress did an amazing job in ensuring it fits perfectly so I felt comfortable without compromising the feel of the A-line skirt. I loved the way it made me seem to like me, but a far more beautiful version of me!"

"I did wear a veil – from. It was the thing I'd been certain of from the first day. I'd always wanted an extended, plain veil as I imagine they look so beautiful when walking on the aisle."

The bridesmaids looked beautiful in long, deep blue wrap style dresses, that they wore using their shoes and accessories.

"We wanted the color palette for the wedding to reflect Brinkburn itself with simple but beautiful tones. Our flowers were very natural and rustic with a lot of foliage throughout, creating an effortlessly elegant vibe."

"We met within our final year of Newcastle University. We were set up by a mutual friend. Jonny made the initial step by adding me on Facebook, and we first came face to face within the uni library."

"Eight years later, I was away on a short break to Barcelona. Jonny had planned the proposal, coupled with choosing a diamond ring but unfortunately, there would be a mix-up, which resulted in it didn't get delivered in time for that trip away. Eventually, he stumped for any Peppa Pig ring to propose with."

"On our second evening in Barcelona, he proposed within the hotel room before we went for dinner to celebrate. The ring arrived the day after we got home! We got engaged on 7th May 2018, and viewed Brinkburn on 8th June 2018, after which got married exactly twelve months later. "

After the ceremony, drinks were enjoyed outside, together with more live music from Didsbury String Quartet.

Jonny looked smart inside a blue checked suit, that they paired having a bespoke grey waistcoat and classic monk strap shoes.

"Emily bought me a new watch for that big day, that was engraved with these initials and the date for the wedding."

"Finding a band was pretty tricky. As we don't live within the area, we couldn't use whatever live bands, so spent a little bit of time trawling promo videos of numerous ones. In the end, I was sold around the whole package that was provided."

"They have great singers backed up with a proper band. We knew we wanted a jazz-style band to experience, plus they gave us exactly what we should want. Our first dance ended up being to Al Green – Let's Stay Together. We both love the song and also the fact that the very first line is 'I'm so deeply in love with you. "

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Go together with your gut! Don't spend hours trawling through options should you don't have to. Stick to your vision."

"One major suggestion would be don't sweat the little stuff. You won't even notice small information on your day, you'll just notice all of your loved ones being there to celebrate you."
