A Multi-Cultural and Romantic English Country Wedding

It's a genuine pleasure introducing, an advertising and marketing executive at Sotheby's Auction House and Ope, who works at American Express. They married on 7 September 2019 inside a wonderfully vibrant, fusion wedding that blended English and Nigerian traditions, using their reception inside a tent set within the romantic, country estate of, Withyham, East Sussex.

"I adored my prom dresses and felt amazing inside it. It was a simple design having a boat neck and also the top would be a satin Mikado fabric. I always knew I wanted sleeves but thick sleeves seemed too restricting then when we selected the sheer sleeve it had been perfect."

"The embellished element around the sleeve would be a rather last-second suggestion from my maid of honor who thought I needed a little bit of sparkle! I just loved the way the dress moved. It was heavy although not overbearing also it moved and swished so beautifully."

The bridesmaids looked charming inside a variety of dresses in dusty pink and sage green, chosen and worn with hairpieces.

"Flowers played an enormous part in the decoration and both church and reception tent were filled with them. We did possess a color theme of dusty pink and sage green and I attempted to tie this with the whole day and through both ushers and bridesmaids."

The couple was introduced at a mutual friend's New Year's Eve Party and following a two a half-year romance, Ope proposed on vacation in Sri Lanka.

"We had been on vacation for ten days and arrived in a beautiful hotel in Tangalle. Ope inquired about getting dressed up for any 'walk across the beach' and I freaked this was going to be considered a proposal so naturally took ages to obtain ready with him nagging me to hurry up. We took bottled beers and walked across the beach stopping on a little swing bench – but nothing happened!"

"I type of thought he’d either changed his mind or possibly I just got the incorrect end of the stick. We went for a cocktail and he pretended to forget something in our accommodation (much to my annoyance as I was hungry and wanted to obtain going to dinner) therefore we popped back so when I opened the doorway the room was filled with flowers and petals, all thanks towards the amazing hotel staff."

"Cut from bamboo leaves around the bed was the content, 'Will you marry me. It was so pretty and also the smell of all of the flowers is one thing I will always remember."

'I burst into tears, sobbed out a 'yes' and continued to cry for the following five hours! Ope had booked out an entire restaurant for us therefore we walked there coupled with dinner outside overlooking the ocean."

"The whole church service was special, especially when the choir sang 'Stand By Me' with these guests."

The main styling element of the day were masses and numerous flowers, and also the bride's bouquet would be a sumptuous and romantic mixture of roses and herbs.

The couple had chosen among airy, high-ceilinged Sperry tents for his or her reception, also it looks so wonderful using its dressing of garland lights, hanging tendrils of foliage, and extra pieces.

"We served our cake for pudding coupled with two flavors; lemon and elderflower and whisky and ginger having a salted caramel buttercream. The cake was four tiers and covered in beautiful pressed flowers."

The evening party got started by having the first dance to the Tiesto remix of 'All Of Me' before dancing to music.

Words of Wedded Wisdom
