Phoebe in Rime Arodaky on her Festival Inspired Marquee Wedding in Devon

I'm taking you to the beautiful, rolling moors of Devon entirely summer today, where Phoebe and Alastair hosted a fun-filled, sailcloth tent celebration. On 24 July 2021, teacher Phoebe wed chartered surveyor Alastair inside a church ceremony then a sailcloth tent (via Sperry Tents) reception on view spaces of Oak Tree Gardens, Ashprington, Totnes, Devon.

The couple wanted a Devon wedding, near to where the bride-to-be's parents live, having a circus-like atmosphere, filled with fun and dancing.

She designed a dramatic statement together with her FeelTimes gown, having a simple and elegant fitted body and train, plunging neckline, and bold, structured ruffle sleeves.

"I got my dress at feeltimes. They were brilliant and incredibly good at their job. They were honest about fittings and also the whole process. They liked the originality of the dress, shoes, and veil. I even featured his or her bride from the month for those these features."

"I wanted something which resembled me; it had been loud in places but simple in other people. I loved the boldness from the sleeves and elegance from the dress and also the subtle lace within the train and also the way it fitted me."

The bride added block heels in pink velvet from Roberto Festa and wore earrings from my mum to allow the gown's beauty to shine.

Alastair and Phoebe met even though they were traveling at age eighteen, however, they didn't start dating until the end of university. Alastair decided to wear a vintage morning suit having a green waistcoat, custom-made for him. He added Liverpool FC socks inside a nod to the love for football. Alastair and Phoebe exchanged their vows within the local church, using the ceremony led by the bride's uncle.

As the bride-to-be had worked within the events industry before being a teacher, she desired to do the planning and styling herself, selecting a range of colors, foliage, and seasonal, summer flowers for any bright, celebratory vibe.

Photographer Johnny Dent, who Phoebe is available on Instagram, captured the couple as well as their joy, too as the epic Devon landscape, so beautifully.

"Reliving it whenever we got the photos back was a lot of fun and I find myself looking go back over them over and over."
