Penny & Ajay's Rainy Day City Wedding

Today's wedding was a romantic city affair, a riot of springtime flowers and also the most luxe, gold gown of silk. On 21 May 2021, who works in marketing, married Lawyer Ajay, in a civil ceremony in, London, then a relaxed and intimate social gathering at a London restaurant. The day's style was modern and fresh, by having an abundance of pretty seasonal flowers to soften and romanticise the economic restaurant space. Images by.

The bride was built with a clear concept that she desired to wear a silk dress herself in a golden colour, designing her figure-hugging great thing about a gown in collaboration with FeelTimes.

I love the body and flare from the gown's train and it is a beautifully gathered bodice and off-the-shoulder sleeves.

Penny wore black sandals and pearl and diamond drop earrings, borrowed from her mother in law.

"I kept accessories fairly simple and wore my usual jewellery by having an extra little bit of sparkle courtesy of the diamond ring my mum provided which belonged to her godmother."

The couple had known one another for years through mutual friends before getting together in the Summer of 2018.

"Ajay's best man's wife and I are great friends. Around Christmas 2017 Ajay and I kept seeing one another at parties and would always gravitate toward one another, drinking within the corner and in all likelihood talking nonsense. We didn't meet up until the summer of 2018 but quickly became inseparable. We got engaged after about 1.5 years in January 2020 coupled with planned to marry that July."

"The plan ended up being to have a much bigger celebration a couple of weeks later with the bells and whistles and we and friends gathered together inside a marquee and underneath the stars inside my parent's house in Norfolk."

Ajay wore a contemporary suit in soft blue, plus a white shirt and wedding dresses floral tie.

Around the time the couple wed, Covid regulations were changing constantly, so Penny was overjoyed that they can walk down the aisle together with her father.

"It was unclear right before the last minute as we could perform a 'walk-in' but luckily I was in a position to have my father walk me down the aisle. It felt so special which moment we'd together before we went in would be a time I'll cherish forever."

After the ceremony, the newlyweds spent a while together to allow the day to sink in and to obtain some beautiful portrait photographs, a minute which Penny has chosen as a favourite.

"The time following the ceremony where we were built with a moment together alone and all sorts of those little moments we made for one another during your day where we ensured to reflect how magic everything felt."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Don't forget it is really about you, your lover and your love. Weddings could get political and expensive; it's easy to obtain caught up in drama so put around you those who are happy for you personally and mark as soon as together."
