Angelica's Home Try-On Party

Angelica and Ian are "college sweethearts and met during our sophomore year of school while attending Colorado State University in Fort Collins", says Angelica. "Our story is kind of funny but sweet. I was inside a sorority, he was inside a fraternity, and we met in a greek life event one night striking it off! More than half of our wedding party is made up of my sorority sisters and the fraternity brothers therefore it is extra special that most people have maintained this type of close bond plus they will all be part of our wedding day."

With her sight set on mixing and matching bridesmiad gowns she "knew [she] wanted all of the dresses to become different, yet cohesive and loved the satin and velvet options - they're so different and not overdone", says Angelica. Before her home try-on party she "ordered the mega swatches for both and realized the 2 would look incredible together." The next step in her wedding planning process: finalizing colors!

"Since I have a large wedding party (10 girls) I decided on doing half velvet and also the other half satin and mixing in four colors. Three girls have been in Copper, three in Terracotta, two in Rust, and 2 in Cinnamon Rose."

"I prefer to think in our vibe as dreamy and romantic," Angelica says as she's planning her outdoor mountain ranch venue she and Ian picked to "embod[y] our adventurous side and fascination with the Rockies". Their wedding falls on the night of a complete moon so "that's also playing into our wedding dresses design and aesthetic".

The soon to become newlyweds "want the day to become a fun experience for the guests so we're incorporating a large number of unique elements into your day like a whiskey tasting station like a nod towards the groom's heritage" and "a large amount of fun custom signage and decor too" to dive to their DIY skills together. "Again, it is all about having a fun day using the people we like most!", notes Angelica.

"We loved all the styles we tried on and therefore are sticking with them! I loved the mixture and match options that were offered which was a huge reason I decided to choose FeelTimes. I recommend that brides plan a house try-on party using their girls, it is not only fun but provides the girls a chance to try on different styles rather than picking one online"

If you'll need a sign to plan a house try-on party together with your crew, this is it! We are so excited for Angelica's special day, and therefore are so happy that people get to play a part inside it! Join FeelTimes to go in our next giveaway!
